This is actually the flag of Kingdom of Cambodia. There are actually blue strips on the top and base of the red flag. Red symbolizes very good luck and celebration, and blue symbolizes gentle and flexibility. In the midst of the purple huge strip is painted the white Angkor temple with gold rim.
